Ryan ten is a south African born cricketer who plays internationally for Netherlands due to his dutch ancestry. he played for essex since 2003. ryan ten is the only batsman to have batting average of 67 in one day internationals. nevertheless his batting average against the test playing nations is still very good(42.57 in 8 matches), and he holds the record for the highest individual score by a player from associate nation playing against a test playing nation,119,scored in nagpur against england in icc world cup 2011.
In 2010, ryan was named as the associate player of the year in icc awards. he is also playing ipl for kkr.
