virat is an indian international cricketer. he is middle order batsman and can open the batting as well. he has emerged as very useful player for india in last few months. indian selectors see the future of indian crickat in him. he is basically from delhi but playes for bangalore in ipl.
he captained the victorious indian cricket team in u-19 cricket world cup in 2008 where he scored 235 runs in 6 matches. since then he never looked back. he also performed brilliantly in world cup 2011. he made a great ton in his first ever world cup match against bangladesh...he is a very good fielder as well,
